Back on the boat, the first dive is still being replayed in conversation while preparation for the second has already begun.

A cylinder is changed. The route gets another look. Someone checks a seal, someone else adjusts a strap, and every piece of equipment has to earn its place on the next dive.

The surface interval can feel like downtime, but it is also where divers reset, review and prepare.

DAÏVE uses a replaceable, rechargeable 14500 battery. A charged battery can be swapped at the surface between dives, making power another deliberate part of that preparation routine.

The system is designed for a full day under typical diving use. That is a design target, not a universal runtime promise. Until the test protocol is final, it should not become a guaranteed number of hours or dives.

Battery access belongs at the surface. The compartment stays closed underwater.
